Cranberry Kitchen
Most of the cranberry production in BC is used as ingredients in Ocean Spray products. Ocean Spray is a co-operative that the majority of BC farmers are members of. Ocean Spray first produced its famous Cranberry Juice Cocktail in 1930 and since then has gone on to produce many cranberry juice combinations, as well as the incredibly popular Craisins, a trademarked sweetened and dried cranberry similar in consistency to a raisin. In 2007, more than half of BC cranberry production will go into making these tangy and tasty cranberry treats!
